The Best Master Thesis Competition (BMTC) is relatively a new activity within the wide scope of the Pontis Foundation’s field of operation. The BMTC is part of the projects dealing with the global education and its main aim is to make the topic of development assistance and its particular recipient regions, mainly the Western Balkans, more attractive and popular. The competition motivates university students to raise their interest and expert capacity on the target topics and accepts only works with expressed global dimension, reflecting modern academic and research trends, contributing to the discussion on direction of Slovak official diplomacy towards Slovak official development assistance regions, and bringing innovative ideas on activities in the target regions.
