corporate volunteerism

Through corporate volunteerism, the employees of a corporation are involved in projects that benefit the community. Such involvement can take various forms; corporations can:

  • respect, actively promote and appreciating volunteer work of its employees
  • provide employees with the time, financial and material support, know-how and contacts for volunteer activities
  • initiate direct participation of employees in a volunteer project, usually during the work hours
  • contact and support non-profit organizations
