The Business Leaders Forum is a network of companies established by The Pontis Foundation together with the eleven founding companies in 2004. Its members committed voluntarily to integrate in their strategies principles affecting the social, ethical, and environmental aspects of entrepreneurship.

BLF has since 2004 become one of the leading associations continually spreading the idea of the case for corporate social responsibility. Overview of our activities proves that our mission is being fulfilled successfully.

The number of our programmes and activities performed in order to support corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility in Slovakia is steadily growing. Among many others we carry out annual surveys on the Slovak public perception of CSR, supervise a university-level course on CSR and publish a bi-monthly BLF Newsletter. We are co-authors of the first Slovak publication on CSR. Once a year, we exchange the best domestic and foreign experiences at CSR Conference, which was in 2006 for the first time supplemented by a CSR MarketPlace. We assist in development and implementation of corporate donor strategies through grant-making and volunteering and host a prestigious annual Via Bona Slovakia corporate philanthropy award. The establishment of the Business Leaders Forum in Slovakia gave birth to a new partner for international institutions. We are a national partner organization of CSR Europe and Business in the Community.
