record 111 nominations are competing for the via bona slovakia 2009 awards

 

February 14, 2010 - In the 10th year of the Via Bona Slovakia Awards, the Pontis Foundation received a record of 113 nominations. The evaluation committee will evaluate 111 nominations. Two nominations – projects of Západoslovenská eneretika, a.s. this year's general partner of the awards - were excluded from the evaluation process.

„We are glad, that the 10th anniversary of Via Bona Slovakia Awards impressed and we received record 113 nominations. The evaluation committee, composed of representatives of the business world, public administration, media, the non-governmental sector and independent institutions, will evaluate 111 nominations,“ said Oľga Auchenbach, Program Coordinator at Pontis Foundation.

The Via Bona Slovakia 2009 Awards has 11 categories reflecting the continual development of CSR and corporate philanthropy in Slovakia.

The winners in all categories will be announced at a gala night on March 30, 2010, which will be held in Mestské divadlo P.O. Hviezdoslava in Bratislava.
