We signed a Memorandum of Understading, which will enable the students to travel to India and do an internship there which focuses on developments projects,” explained Ivana Raslavská, Program Director at Pontis Foundation for democratization and development cooperation. Sidart is a voluntary organization founded in 1998 by a group of passionate and dedicated individuals committed to the empowerment of poor and marginalized women and children.

Currently, it supports a network of non-governmental organizations in one of the largest Indian states, Rajasthan. Through this, Sidart endeavours to foster the economic and social development of the marginalized sections of the society. Furthermore, they will be able to assit in ongoing projects, learn how to prepare them, meet the representatives of both the state and local government so that they could better understand how Indian non-governmental organizations work,” said Pramila Sanjaya from Sidart, where normally students from all over the world volunteer.
