About the Great Customer Service workshop

Zingerman’s is known for its great attitude to its employees, who return this favour to the company as well as their customers. In business, this company has popularized the “extra mile attitude”, giving the customer more than what is expected. 

Come to all-day workshop led by Ari Weinzweig – the world-famous entrepreneurial phenomenon, anarchist and founder of Zingerman’s – and get specific tips on providing great customer service to your clients.

Workshop is a part of conference on corporate responsibility in Central and Eastern Europe CEE CSR Summit and will take place a day before the Summit itself (i.e. on Monday 16 May 2016) at Impact Hub Bratislava. What is awaiting you?

If you don’t give customers a valid reason to shop at your place, they simply won’t. That’s why Zingerman’s decided to go the extra mile and provide more than what has been expected by the customer. Ari Weinzweig stresses that it is not enough for him to have a “satisfied” customer – he wants a “faithful” customer. This is closely related to having a great attitude towards the company’s employees. What they give in return is positive for the company and for the customers themselves, because when you want perfect customer service provided by the staff to the clients, you need to cater for the staff’s needs as well. Ari thus emphasizes that it is highly important to create a pleasant and comfortable work environment. Only in such conditions are employees motivated to work hard, because they can feel the appreciation from the management.
