CEE CSR Summit 2016: Bratislava will again host the top CSR experts

The CEE CSR Summit, the oldest and largest event on CSR in Central and Eastern Europe, will be held on May 17 in Bratislava.

Bratislava, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and Warsaw. What do these cities have in common? In Central Europe there is an ongoing discussion about how much companies should invest in corporate social responsibility, if at all. Are investments into fair and ethical programmes only a certain “gold foil” that drains company funds? Or are companies healthier and more lively thanks to responsible business practices? At the CEE CSR Summit 2016, you will be able to discover new ways of strengthening the loyalty of your employees and making your customers return to you. And there’s much more to it than that!

More than 150 CSR experts will visit Bratislava. Leaders from the USA, Denmark, Great Britain, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, and many other countries will share their experiences with you. Already on May 17, 2016 in Bratislava

What to expect this year?

At this year’s summit, we will look at more than specific figures of returns on investments in corporate social responsibility. You will also learn about the influence of basic human habits and instincts on the decision-making processes of individuals and institutions, along with the reasons why such emotional factors and their economic and social consequences may turn out to be humanity’s largest threat. Then you will find out why customers and potential employees look for brands that have a purpose and how a company can make millions in profit by actively involving the employees in the operation of the company itself. After our summit, you won’t need to ask whether you can make a difference in business. We guarantee you that on your own initiative you will start looking for ways to bring a fresh breeze into your business and offer responsible market products and services.

Transparency is great, but open-book management isn’t just about checking spreadsheets with financial records and sharing them with employees. Open-book management is about having every employee involved in the operation of the company itself. The main point is to make people understand the functioning of the whole company and their role within it. The key is responsibility, collaboration and taking the initiative.
