Impact Ventures Fund Invests Half a Million Euros in Technologies of the Future
Impact Ventures, an investment fund focused on supporting innovative solutions with a positive impact on society and the environment, has announced investments totaling €500,000 into two Slovak companies. The funding will support modern plastic waste recycling and more cost-effective charging of electric vehicles.
The fund has invested €300,000 in the technology company AgeVolt, which develops intelligent solutions for EV charging. Eco Verde Recycling, operator of a modern plastic recycling facility in Nitra, has secured €200,000 to support its further growth.
AgeVolt: Electromobility Will Become as Ordinary as Wi-Fi
AgeVolt is building the infrastructure of the future. Its hardware solutions simplify the installation of charging stations, while its software optimizes energy usage and helps retailers build relationships with customers through advantageous charging options. “AgeVolt is an example of a technological innovation with the potential to transform our cities, reduce carbon emissions, and simplify everyday life,” said Michaela Viskupičová, investment manager at Impact Ventures.
Electromobility will soon become a natural part of daily life. “Charging will be as common as connecting to Wi-Fi—available anywhere you park. Owners of ordinary parking spaces need to prepare for that. We are building an ecosystem for businesses and municipalities that combines smart energy management, hardware, and digital services, so that the transition to electromobility is neither expensive nor complicated and even creates new opportunities,” explained Jan Zuštiak, CEO of AgeVolt.
Eco Verde Recycling: A Second Life for Plastic – without Incineration, without Waste
Eco Verde Recycling operates one of the most advanced ecological recycling lines in Slovakia. Its technology enables plastic packaging to be recycled back into plastics without chemical decomposition or incineration, significantly reducing the carbon footprint and protecting the environment.
This innovative solution closes the plastic loop with minimal impact on nature. “Our mission is to show that plastic doesn’t have to be waste. If handled properly, it can be reused repeatedly without harming the environment. We want to prove that sustainable plastic processing can be a natural part of a modern economy,” emphasized Vladimír Slávik, CEO of Eco Verde Recycling.

Eco Verde Recycling demonstrates that a careful, efficient, and long-term sustainable path for processing plastic waste is possible. “These two investments confirm that economic growth can go hand in hand with environmental protection and a real social benefit. This is exactly the kind of approach we want to support,” said Martina Kolesárová, Co-CEO of the Pontis Foundation and managing director of Pontis Impact.
Impact Ventures investment fund is built on three pillars—Pontis Impact, CB ESPRI, and Dubec Ventures united by a shared vision: to support innovations that positively impact the country, its people, and its future. The investments in AgeVolt and Eco Verde Recycling demonstrate that the Slovak ecosystem has the potential to turn good ideas into real change.
